  • H13 Tool Steel Desktop Metal

H13 is a chromium molybdenum hot work steel well known for its exceptional hot hardness and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for a variety of hot work applications. H13 can also be used in cold work applications thanks to its general hardness and toughness.

  • H 13 Annealed Pacific Machinery & Tool Steel

PACIFIC H13 is deep hardening with very high toughness and excellent resistance to heat checking. Although primarily used for hot work applications, it can be used in cold work applications where extra toughness is required (but sacrifice in wear resistance can be tolerated).

  • What is the Rockwell Hardness for H13 steel Answers

May 12, 2008 · Minimum hardness is about 50 HRC, but, though the alloy is specific, there are a variet of heat treatments that can push this figure around quite a bit. A link is provided to the site of a supplier, and some good data on H13 steel can be reviewed there. ANSWERRockwell (HRC) 50.

  • Speedy Metals Information for H 13 Hot Work Tool Steel

H13 is a steel having very high hardenability and should be hardened by cooling in still air. The use of a salt bath or controlled atmosphere furnace is desirable to minimize decarburization, and if not available, pack hardening in spent pitch coke is suggested.

  • High Speed Steel H13 Steel H13 Hot Work Die Steel

Premium H13 is a premium quality H13 hot work die steel that is designed to meet the highest quality standards in the die casting industry, and to excel in the most demanding hot work tooling applications. Premium H13 is melted using an electricarc furnace, is refined by the argon oxygen decarburization (AOD) process and is further enhanced to aerospace quality levels using Vacuum Arc Remelting (VAR).

  • AISI H13 Tool Steel 1.2344 SKD61 Hot Work Steel OTAI

It also combines shock and abrasion resistance, has good red hardness, can resist rapid cooling and withstand premature heat checking. The H13 tool steel has good machinability, good weldability and good ductility and it can be formed by conventional means. So H13 steel applications is very range in hot forged mold, hot work tool.

  • H13 / AISI H13 / DIN 2344 Ventura Steels

The molybdenum and vanadium act as strengthening agents while the chromium content helps the AISI H13 steel to withstand softening when used at high temperatures. It also combines shock and abrasion resistance, has good red hardness, can resist rapid cooling and withstand premature heat checking.

  • Can I use H13 or S7 steel for mold?

Apr 18, 2017 · Hi,Amer, the hardeness of H13 is 48 52 HRC, but if the resin is PVC or PLA, it is better to use 420 Stainless steel or 1.2083 hardened or 1.2085 hardened, becuse those types of steel is more corrosion resist, and the A and B plate for the mould better choose P20.
